”And
the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain, for they would not
allow them to come down to the valley:” (Judges
1:34)
One of man’s greatest desires is to be free. No human being with his or
her complete senses will enjoy being in a cage or prison. The prison or cage I
speak of here does not mean a literal prison cell, but the inability to do what
you want when you want to.
There are many people walking on the streets but are locked up in
spiritual cages. Their destinies have been put on hold, their minds have been
garaged. They want to make advancements but nothing seems to come out good.
This is a replica of what the children of Dan went through.
The Danites were not allowed passage through the plains. They may have
been tired of where they stayed in the mountains under the scourging sun and
wanted to move to the valley where there was shade, but they were not allowed
to.
This situation draws so much attention because the reason they stayed in
the mountain was because of the Amorites. The Bible says “…the Amorites would not suffer
them to come down to the valley” the Amorites forced them to a place
where they could control the children of Dan, a place where they could decide
what happens next in their life; a place where they could not move freely. They
were caged.
You may be faced with similar situation in your family, job business,
marriage, education, etc. but because of this message, I declare that every
Amorite troubling your life and destiny will give way for you or die by fire in
the mighty name of Jesus.
