#EaglesDevotional - DESTINY HELPERS II

“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:2.

Apart from your destiny been interwoven with the destiny of others, sometimes you need destiny helpers to point you in the right direction. In the book of Esther, though there was an eternal purpose why Esther was created and why she was on the throne, she did not even realise it until Mordecai (her destiny helper) pointed it out to her. In Esther 4:13-14, he said to her, “... Think not with thyself that thou shall escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.

For if thou altogether holds thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knows whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” this statement immediately jolted Esther back to the right track of her destiny fulfillment. Samuel’s destiny was not only interwoven with that of Prophet Eli, He was also helped by prophet Eli to identify and respond to God’s call upon his life.

1 Samuel 3:8, 9 “And the Lord called Samuel again the third time, and he arose and went unto Eli saying, here I am u called me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. And Eli said unto Samuel.... if he calls thee thou shall say speak Lord for thy servant hears”. Not until this point Samuel was a novice to the voice of God hence to his destiny. Eli pointed him in the right direction to his destiny fulfillment. We also saw from Acts 10:44 that God through apostle peter brought his salvation plans for the gentiles to pass.  God uses a man to be vessels or channel or pointer for fulfilling his plans for men.

Prayer and Confession: I open my heart to proper guidance; my head will not reject instruction. Let every deceptive pointer be burnt by the flaming fire of God in Jesus name

Words of Wisdom: You don’t need the whole world to fulfill your destiny; you only need the one man God has interwoven your destiny with.
