#EaglesDevotional - FIGHT BACK

“For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.” Exodus 7:12

If you must change your status, if you want to leave your present state of insufficiency and oppression to a place of abundance and security, you must be ready for a fight. I do not speak of physical fights with fists and guns. Ephesians 6:12 says “For we do not wrestle  against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.” This is a battle settled upon your knees in the place of prayer.

Stop complaining about the situation, rather confront the opposition and get your victory. In the Exodus chapter 7, when Moses and Aaron went before Pharaoh to demand the freedom of the Israelite's, Aaron dropped his rod on the ground as God commanded them and the rod became a serpent. In verse Exodus 11 and 12, Pharaoh called on his Wise men and sorcerers and their rods turned to serpents as well by enchantment.  Then there was a battle.
What if Aaron’s rod had just stayed down without fighting, the rods of the magicians would have devoured that of Aaron. There are many forces fighting your testimony, but will you sit and fold your arms, or will you face the forces in the place of prayer and defeat them.

The bible says in Matthew 11:12“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Stand up, be aggressive in the spirit and move to your next level.
