#EaglesDevotional - CHANGE

“And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, See now, the place where we dwell with thee is too small for us.” 2 Kings 6:1

As you read this devotional today, you must be determined to change your situation, you must have the desire to live a better life else everything that is written will not have impact in your live. It is usually said that ‘you can force the horse to the stream, but you can’t force the horse to drink water’. Therefore, until you decide that enough is enough of your current state, moving to the next level will not happen.

Think of it this way; what if a student decides not to write the promotion exam to go to the next class, that student will watch other students make progress while they are still in that class. This same situation is obtained in life. If you decide not to fight the battles that will take you to the next level, you will remain in same place. Every level has its unique battles and if you chose not to face, you will be stuck.

In 2 Kings 6:1, the sons of the prophet said to Elisha “…Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too small for us.” This is one problem with many believers today; we get easily comfortable with our current state forgetting that God has something better. The sons of the prophet were uncomfortable with their level and were ready for a change.

Don’t get too comfortable with your current situation, desire something better for your life, find out the secrets behind the problems you are facing, don’t allow them control you anymore, defeat them and move to the next level.
