"...Horn of his anointed...” (1 Samuel 2:10 KJV)
One of the ingredients in the
anointing is the 'Myrrh'. The most important quality about MYRRH is that it is
bitter and not sweet.
The anointing attracts trouble
and trouble in turn breeds bitterness especially when the trouble is prolonged.
In the Bible, every anointed man or woman experienced trouble. Even though the
anointing subdues trouble, it does not prevent it.
The difference between the man
that is anointed and one that is not, is that the man that is not anointed does
not have the supernatural ability to overcome trouble but the anointed man will
overcome all his troubles.
Job was an anointed business man
of God who lost everything but when God eventually and supernaturally soothed
his bitterness, he became a better man at the end.
Did you know that it was God who
introduced Job to the devil in the first instance? Trouble seasons the
anointing. As a child of God, you are anointed so when trouble comes your way
do not fret, neither be discouraged, because joy and laughter are on the way.
PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, I receive double grace to
hold through any bitter situation in my life. I am eleven times better. I will
come out of my troubles, a better person
