"He was still speaking when,
behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,
“This is my beloved Son, [a] with whom I am well pleased; listen to him." (Matthew 17:5)
The verse of
scripture talks about the transfiguration of Jesus Christ, the word
transfiguration could be defined as “a complete change of form or appearance
into a more beautiful or spiritual state”. The Bible said "a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a
voice from the cloud said, “This is
my beloved Son, [a] with whom I am well pleased; listen to him." Jesus
was acknowledged and transcended into glory because he was diligent in ensuring
that he fulfilled the scriptures, obedience to God is the ultimate key to
manifestation of Glory. When you live a life of obedience you will shine, the
glory of the Lord will make you shine. Finally, the scripture said "...
Listen to him"
Do you really believe that God was talking to
only the three disciples who were with Christ at that moment? God was talking
to the world of demonic power. God was saying because he has obeyed me any words
that proceeds from his mouth must be obeyed. As you read this devotional today
if you can live a life of obedience, whatever you say shall come to pass, also
the devil, diseases, powers of darkness will hear you.
For greater
is he that is in you than the power or demons that is pursuing you, the time
has come for you to turn around and pursue your enemies because there is power
upon your life when you obey God, you will speak to devils and they will hear
your voice, you will speak to situations and it will turn around for your
good.
PRAYER/CONFESSION: In the name
of Jesus, I decree; any demonic power against my life, marriage, business and
family, hear the word of the Lord, I destroy you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
