"… And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule over them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” Revelation 19:15
We learnt yesterday that walking in dominion means to move forward by exercising authority and that acknowledgement of the place of Jesus is the starting point of walking in dominion. In other words, it is vital to know that our authority is anchored on Christ. In Exodus 14, when Moses was confronted by the red sea, one would think that God would have said to Moses: “Since the odds are against you, you better go back and re-negotiate with Pharaoh!” but that was not the case rather He said go forward.” Don’t quit.
Rev. 19:15 says: “… And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule over them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." Can a physical sword come out of a man’s mouth? Certainly not! The sword refers to God’s words in you. Moses had a physical rod in his hand but you have a spiritual rod in your mouth. Hallelujah! Exercise your authority by speaking to the Red Sea, the mountains & that human factor in your life.
Exercise your authority boldly. In Genesis 2, when God created man, one of the first mandate God gave to man was “…exercise dominion…”
You cannot overcome Pharaoh by being quiet. Open your mouths today, exercise your authority and you will rule over nations, circumstances, troubles, difficulties, and challenges. It may appear as if nothing good will happen but do not be discouraged. Keep speaking in agreement with God’s word. Look into the space and say: “Satan, you cannot stop me. I am going forward!”
PRAYER/CONFESSION: In the name of Jesus, my life must go forward. Pharoah, I break your strongholds over my life. I step out of stagnation, sickness, failure, disappointment, miscarriage. I am going forward.
