“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son
of man that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour”, (Psalm 8:4-5).
Say to yourself I
have a crown. If you are a child of God today, you may not see it but there is
a crown. Only kings wear crowns, the Bible says in revelation 1:6
“And hath made us kings and priests unto
God and his father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever, Amen. We have been made kings by the inheritance through the king
of kings. There are many kings in our country today; do you know in some
villages any man that has money can become the king? It is a useless kind of
kingship. The real Kingship is by inheritance from father to son. If you are a child
of God, you are a king or queen by inheritance; the whole essence of Jesus
death on the cross and the significance of his resurrection from the dead is
for us to be kings and queens.
Whosoever you may be, wherever you come from, if you are a
believer, there is a crown on your head, you are a king in the sight of God.
God put a crown on your head. A king rules; in Psalm 110:2, the Bible
says “...rule thou in the midst of thine Enemies”. As you read this
devotional, know that there is a crown on your head, do not allow your
circumstances to rule you, rule them, there is a power in your life, Christ in
you is the hope of glory, because of the Christ in you every power will bow,
every opposition will bow.
Prayer/Confession: There
is a crown on my head, I am a king and priest unto God, I rule over sickness,
shame, every circumstance that is challenging me today in the name of Jesus.
