#EaglesDevotional - I WILL NOT BE ASHAMED

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed” (Joel 2:26-27).

In 2 Corinthians 13:1, the Bible says "...out of the mouths of two or three witnesses shall every word be established". Believe anything in the Bible. If you read the same thing twice, believe it twice. In the scripture above, God said it twice that “...My people shall never be ashamed...

As a son/daughter of God, if God says you will never be ashamed, no matter what happens to you, you will never be ashamed. All things will work for your good. If its not working for your good today, it means it is not the end. At the end, you will never be ashamed. The word of God is Yea and Amen. Believe the word of God, if God says it, just believe it and that settles it. God will never change His mind. God will not allow you to be ashamed. He will remove shame from your life, family, friends, and marriage. He will take away the shame. Things around you may look like you will be disgraced, but God will wipe it away.

Where did shame come from? It began in Genesis, in Genesis 2:25, Adam and Eve were naked and they were not ashamed but in chapter 3:7 their eyes were opened and they knew they were naked and sewed fig leaves together to cover their nakedness because they were now ashamed. What happened? Sin brought shame. Shame is a product of sin. Sin takes your cover and brings shame. Sin will take your dignity, your self esteem and the ability for you to stand up straight. God has promised you that you will never be ashamed but when sin is found in your life, He will not help you because sin separates man from God and makes God turn His face away from man. Sin brought shame to Judah, Miriam and Aaron. May God help you to walk uprightly.

Prayer/Confession: I will not be ashamed. The devil will not rob me of my dignity.
