“Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the
evil day, and having done all, to stand” Ephesians
6:13.
Many
people because they seek protection have crossed many rivers, embarked on
several days journey, and even spent their last penny in search of protection.
Some have swallowed many things because of protection. They love to hear lies
and are therefore deceived. Human beings want you to play tricks but the things
of God are so simple that people find it difficult to understand and believe
it.
Why do
you waste your money looking for protection when God has made provisions for
you to be protected in His word? (He says put on the whole amour)
Don’t
look for protection from the very person (the devil) that is destroying you.
It’s only God that can protect you. Destroy any charm you have in the name of
protection. You cannot serve two masters at the same time.
Another
way for you to be protected is to ‘Stand’. In Ephesians 6 vs 11, you see the
word stand, in verse 13, it appeared two times, in verse 14a, it reappeared.
God is saying that when you wear that amour of protection, you have to stand.
You are not supposed to fall, or craw to beg the devil. You are supposed to
stand. Do not turn around and run from
the devil or anything the devil throws at you. The Bible says stand.
If
anybody is to run and fall, it is the devil. Jesus said, I saw satan fall like
lightning in Luke10:18. In James 4:7, the Bible says submit yourselves to God,
resist the devil and he will flee from you. The devil is the one who ought to
run not you. No matter what you are going through today, take a stand for
Jesus. Do not compromise your stand for anything. Wherever you find yourself,
in your home, workplace, market, school, village, etc, do not bend to the
devil’s rules. Stand for Jesus. When you stand for Jesus, you attract His
protection to your life.
Prayer/Confession: In the
name of Jesus, I will never fall. I take a stand for Jesus today. I command you
devil and your works, fall in the name of Jesus. You will not pull me down.
