The president has promised to address the security situation in Zamfara state before the beginning of the rainy season.
He made the promise when he paid a condolence visit to those affected by recent crisis between farmers and herdsmen in Gusua, the Zamfara state capital.
The president also attended a town hall meeting with stakeholders as well as traditional rulers in Zamfara state to tackle the security challenge.
Meanwhile, the Zamfara state governor, ABDULAZIZ YARI said huge amounts of money meant for infrastructural development were diverted to securing the lives and properties of residents in the state.
