#EaglesDevotional - PRIESTS AND KINGS

" And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  "(Eph 2:6 KJV)

Christ Jesus is seated on the throne in heaven and we are seated with him. We are occupying our kingly position in the heavenly. There, we are kings and queens, and this is a legal fact but to manifest the authority of our kingdom in this world, we must be connected to our power source. Our power source is walking in a right relationship with God as priests. In other words, for you to express kingly authority in this world, you must fulfill priestly duties.

To maximize the possibilities of your kingship, you must fulfill the responsibilities of your priesthood.  Your primary responsibility as a priest is to offer sacrifices. Rom 12:1 says we must offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God as a remarkable act of spiritual worship. To function in your place of authority, your life must be offered as a good sacrifice bearing this seal "HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD"

The power of God flows into any life that is connected to Him. That power put such a priest on the throne as a king. From where to rule and reign over sin, sickness, failure, disappointment, limitation, the devil, poverty etc. On that throne your enemies are put under your feet.
As you live in holiness and walk in righteousness you will stay connected to your power source, You will as a king "decree a thing and it shall be established" Job. 22:28.
