“Simon
Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.
They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they
caught nothing.” (Joh 21:3 KJV)
God
has given us influence in one spheres of association. In varying degrees whether
you are in "leadership" or not you have a certain measure of
influence. In your school, on the job, in your family, in your business circle
and even your circle of friends, you have some form of influence.
What
are you doing with your influence? How are you affecting the people within the
confines of your sphere of association?
Peter
was to a very large extent was the leader of the pack. The minute he said
"I go fishing, every other disciple said they were going also. He almost
succeeded in leading the other away from
the instruction of the Master. Are your deeds and lifestyle affecting people
positively for Christ? Or are you standing
in the way of sinners preventing
them from entering the kingdom of God because of yours lifestyle? (Psa 1:1 KJV)
My
prayers for you as you read this is that it will be said of you like it was
said of the Corinthians in II Cor. 9:2 that "… Your zeal has stirred up the
majority". May your life affect the people in your sphere of
influence positively for Christ in Jesus name. You need to walk clearly in the
ways of the lord to that extent where men can boast of the fact that your life
is a positive influence for Christ.

PRAYER/CONFESSION:I am
a positive influence for Jesus. I live my life as an example of the believer.
My testimony is like that of the Corinthian church, my zeal is stirring up the
majority that they may walk in that will of our God.
WORDS OF WISDOM: God has given us influence in ones sphere of association.
