“Draw nigh to God, and He will
draw nigh to you…” (James 4:8a).
God introduced Job to Satan and
boasted that he loved Him passionately. Job did not fail God. At the height of
his pain and agony, he said: “… all the days of my appointed time will I wait,
till my change comes” (Job 14:14). He did not look at his depraved situation.
His love for God upheld and sustained him to the point that all his friends
deserted him but he knew that God will defend him. “For I know that my Redeemer
liveth…” (Job 19:25).
Your deep knowledge of and love
for God will enable you to scale over the storms that have swallowed many. Even
your enemies will not understand how you escaped them. Even the devil will be
confused about you. Get lost in God and His word and the God of heaven will
make you a wonder to many. The keys to your breakthrough in life are not far
from you. Just pursue Him, run after Him and see what He can do for you!
In conclusion, I want you to
understand that God has called you to do His work in your local church. Bring
yourself down. Humble yourself and have true knowledge of Him. Labour for God
and let Him labour for you. Let the God who called you begin to do in your life
what you cannot do for yourself.. Let God be your Good Shepherd and bless you
as you shepherd His flock and bless them (Mt. 25:31-40). In I Sam. 15:1, the
Prophet Samuel said to Saul: “…The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over
His people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words
of the LORD.”
This word will set you apart for
the work of God. You will no more do the work of God in the flesh or
deceitfully. This word will release an anointing that will make you peculiar,
unique, keep you on top and make you a wonder in every area of your life, in Jesus
mighty name!
