#EaglesDevotional - THE RESULT OF AARON’S REBELLIOUS ACT

“And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount” (Numbers 20:28)

From the above passage, God instructed Moses to take Aaron and his son to the top of the mountain and Moses stripped Aaron naked in the presence of his son. What a shame! May God not allow you to be disgraced openly as a result of rebellious acts against constituted authority, in Jesus name.  It is crystal clear that a rebellious act can make a person naked.

Believe the words I tell you because they are spirit and life to them that believe and accept them. The only reason Aaron survived until he was stripped naked is because of priesthood garment he wore.  The moment Moses took away the garments from him, Aaron became naked and Moses placed the garment on his son by the name Eleazar. Immediately Aaron lost his covering, Moses commanded him to die and Aaron fell down and died.  The first high priest of Israel died a shameful death because of rebellion.  My sincere prayer for you as you read this devotional is that God will take away from your life any act of rebellion that will take your covering from you in Jesus name. When Moses died, God buried him by Himself. Everything around your life that wants to remove your honour, may God remove that thing by fire because you do not serve a dead God. You serve a living God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
