“And it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered,
that this woman was delivered also: and we were together; there was no stranger
with us in the house, save we two in the house. And this woman’s child died in
the night because she overlaid it” (I Kings 3:18-19).
These two women lived
together in the same house. One of the women had a dead child and the other a
living child. The child is very symbolic because it is a representation of
achievement in life. The child is symbolic of what God wants to give you in
this life. The Bible records that one child was alive, the other child was
dead. Always remember that the mission of the devil is to kill your achievement
or try to stop you from achieving them. While they were asleep, the woman whose child was dead
exchanged her dead child with the living child. Many Christians are sleeping
spiritually while the devil is busy manipulating their achievement. When the
woman awoke and discovered that an exchange had taken place, she realised she
may have lost her child by manipulations at midnight but she refused to let it
go easily. She confronted her
confronters.
Protect your achievement, don’t allow the devil to destroy
it, challenge him in the place of prayer, you will overcome. Most Christians are too lazy to confront their challengers.
They are lazy to pray. Know this, if you are ready to pray then God is ready to
answer. Don’t be too lazy to contend with your contenders through prayers. I prophesy over your life that God will stop your stoppers
in Jesus name. You will see your achievement and you will enjoy it. Your
children will enjoy it. You must fight in the place of prayer to protect your
achievement. God does not forsake His children. David said, “I have been young,
and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed
begging bread”, Psalm 37:25. No matter the unpleasant situation you are going
through now; always know that God will never forsake you.
Prayer/Confession: Lord, cut off as many that
are trying to hinder me from my achievements, in Jesus mighty name!
