#EaglesDevotional - O PHAROAH, LET ME GO

And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent”. (Exodus 7:10)

God sent Moses and Aaron to go to Egypt and set the people of Israel free to bring deliverance but they had to confront Pharaoh first who at that time was the most powerful person on earth. God commanded them to tell Pharaoh to let His people go. Many times, before you see deliverance, you would need to deal with Pharaoh first. You cannot get your deliverance without confronting and defeating Pharaoh.

Who is Pharoah?
Pharoah is anything, human or spirit being that is trying to hinder you from fulfilling the purpose of God for your life. God already knew Moses and Aaron would encounter Pharaoh so He prepared them to defeat him. Moses was bold to confront Pharaoh because He was confident that he was not alone; that God was with him. He knew that God backed him up and he had authority through God. In Exodus 3:14 the bible says “…And God said unto Moses… Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you”.

Today, God is saying unto you, rise up and confront the pharaoh (through prayers) in your job, marriage, business, and daily life, school, etc, and as you do so, know that the Lord is with you. You are not alone. God has never lost a battle. He has never changed. He will not abandon you in the middle of the ocean. Confront Pharaoh today (by prayers). Do not run from Pharoah, deal with Him and get your deliverance. The worst thing a man can do to himself is to run away from his enemies or trouble. You have being anointed as a child of God, a priest of the Most High to live above difficulties, do not allow the threat of your enemies defeat you.

Prayer/Confession: Today in the mighty name of Jesus, I contend and confront every pharaoh in my life. I receive total deliverance according to God’s promises in my life.
