#EaglesDevotional - LET GOD COVER YOU

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

In Genesis 3, when Adam and Eve sinned against God they knew they were naked. For the first time in the history of man, man used his mind to invent something. Unfortunately, the first thing man (Adam) invented was a cover up. Man sat down and began to sew leaves together to cover his nakedness. Man today is not different from Adam of that time. They are trying to cover their nakedness. You must understand that nothing can cover your nakedness only God Almighty can cover your nakedness. Education, money, or good clothes without God is a cover up. Many use sexual perversion and drug abuse as a cover up.
God can cover you from sickness, demons, financial lack because He is a mighty God.

In Genesis 3:21 man did not do a good a job to hide his nakedness, God had to kill an animal and used its skin to cover man, this shows that man failed in his first invention, also almost 2000 years ago God killed his son and used his blood to cover, cleanse, deliver and set you free. The blood of Jesus can set you free today; don’t cover up who you are. I was listening to the news one day, two young men poured acid on a man who is over seventy years old, the question is why did they do it? Something is wrong on the inside of them. Your efforts can’t cover up what is in the inside of you only God can and he will set you free. He will make you become what He desires.

It is time to end the cover up; the word of God has been preached to you why do you reject? You are faced with troubles on every side why are you stubborn and still rejecting the word of God? Education and wealth cannot cover you up from sin, sickness, and demons. You have to wake up and stop covering up; it’s time for you to know God for yourself it doesn’t matter if you were born in the church or you have a Christian name it’s time for you to know Jesus for yourself. The fact that God blesses you with everything shouldn’t make you to forget about him.

Prayer/Confession:  O Lord, let the oil on me not dry up, I receive the strength to walk in the spirit, to apply your words in my life. Set me free from the spirit of unbelief.
