#EaglesDevotional - IT IS POSSIBLE

“For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37)

No matter how hard the circumstances you face, it is not impossible for God to turn things around for good. Jesus said in Mathew 19:26 “…with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible”. You may say no one understands what you are going through; the fact is that your opinion is not needed, all you need to know is the word of God concerning that situation and hold on to it.

When you are sick in your body and the doctor says no hope take your eyes from your body and fix it on the word of the Lord, fix your eyes on Jehovah Ralpha the Lord your Healer, when there is no food on your table take your eyes off it and look to Jehovah Jireh, God our Provider, when your enemies surround you roundabout take your eyes off your enemies and begin to see Jehovah Nisi the Lord our Banner, when you get lonely, no friend to help you take your eyes off your loneliness keep your eyes on Jehovah Shamah, the Lord is present, when you are confused and do not know what to do, where to go and you need a sense of direction, take your eyes off your confusion and put it on Jehovah Rohi. God is with you, it doesn’t matter what you are going through, His word will lift you up.

In Matthew 14:24-31, we see a story about Jesus and Peter. The wind was contrary and Jesus walked on the sea. When Peter saw him, he said in verse 28, “ if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”.

Peter did not step into water, he stepped on the word of God. Jesus said come, and he stepped on that word. As long as his eyes were fixed on the word, he was walking through but immediately doubt entered his mind he began to sink.
The wind represents the uncertainties of life. When the wind blows contrary to you, do not see the wind. Step on the word, as long as your eyes is on the word, you will walk through. If you lose focus from the word, you will begin to sink. The word of  God can sustain you and give you victory if you hold on to it. All things are possible to him that believes.

Prayer/Confession: O Lord, I believe what your word says about me. I will not sink in the water of life. I will see victory in the name of Jesus. No circumstance will consume me. I am an over comer and I shall surely overcome in the name of Jesus.
