Hello dear, I would like to start
by explaining the meaning of Gifts. Gifts or Talents are innate abilities put
in us by God to guide us and make life more enjoyable and easy for us and to fulfil
Gods purpose for us on earth. Eph 2: 10. There are two kinds of gifts;
[1] Spiritual Gifts: Gift of Healing, Gift of Prophecy, Gift of Wisdom,
Interpretation of tongues etc.1Cor 12: 1-31.
[2] Physical Gifts: Cooking, talking, reading, travelling, interior
decoration etc.
Most times, God deposits several
gifts in a person as these gifts [spiritual or physical] are linked to Gods
purpose for our lives. Matt 25:14-30.
HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR GIFTS
Most times as toddlers, we exhibit
certain traits, passions for things and play in certain ways that were our
hobbies. Now as kids, our minds are still blank and prepared to get filled by
things we learn from our society notwithstanding as blank as the mind, Gods
configuration for our lives as imprinted on them but are later corrupted if the
child is not properly guided as in the process of learning we pick up new
hobbies taking note of what we see trending in our society deserting the
originality God gifted to us. NOW take
time out, sit quietly try to remember those things you enjoyed doing as a
child, what you used to enjoy doing and things you enjoyed doing and things you
enjoyed doing but stopped then ask yourself why you stopped doing them and how
you can start doing them again then how that hobby affects you positively?. Dear, no one can know you better than you so
be honest and look in you.
HOW TO FIND YOUR GIFTS IN CHRIST
Basically as I illustrated above,
God gifted these talents to fulfil his purpose through you on earth. WHAT IS
GODS PURPOSE? Gods purpose for us is that WE be his living bill-boards
reflecting his love to all men ie that
men may see you and through you testify of my good works Matt 5:16, 1peter 2:12
If someone gives you a present and you happen to mistakenly lose it and
you want it bad, you would go back to the source to get it won’t you? Now God
gave you these gifts the easiest and basic thing to do is to go back and ask
him, ’’Lord, please I would love to know the gifts you put in me for your word
says I should ask anything in your name and it shall be granted. Thank you lord
for I know you heard me and would tell me in Jesus name, Amen.’’ But before
this short prayer dear, it would be best if you have a relationship with
God-Holy Spirit but if you don’t not to worry solution is here; accept Jesus
into your heart and live, accept him as your lord and personal saviour as he
created you, He knows your yesterday, today and tomorrow only He knows how to
navigate your life free and fairly avoiding the bumpy turns and situations by
praying this simple short prayer’’ Lord Jesus, come into my life I accept you
as my personal Lord and Saviour write my name in the book of life as I
willingly drop my old life and put on Christ, help me through as I choose to
live for you and you alone, Amen’’

WHAT YOUR TALENTS/GIFTS DOES FOR YOU
[1]Makes ways for you: sets you
apart and distinguishes you from another person
[2] Creates financial
empowerment: you can live comfortably by knowing how to maximize your talents, packaging it and presenting it to the
society’’ don’t be shy and never be proud to learn new things especially things
benefitting to your talents..3 John 1: 2
[3] Improves on your self-worth, esteem,
value and the way you are appreciated by people.
[4] Your life becomes a
testimony: Matt 5:14-16. Through you people long for God as they see his
abilities, wonders and financial testimony in your life thus you fulfil Gods
desire to win souls unto God which is wise! 1cor 9:19-23, Mark16:15, Prov
11:30’
Conclusively dear, passion fuels and
ignites your gifts. Passion is the drive that makes you excel doing those
things you love doing with or without money on your mind- Focus on your passion
dear, stir it up and build on your most Holy faith in Christ.
