“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death.
And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, thus saith
the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live... Go, and
say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard
thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen
years”. Isaiah 38:1, 5
God did not send Prophet Isaiah to condemn
King Hezekiah. Rather, He gave him information. He said, “Hezekiah, what I see
is death”. The Bible says in verse 1, King Hezekiah was already sick unto
death. When Prophet Isaiah gave him the information, King Hezekiah rejected it
in his spirit and prayed to God and God added fifteen more years to him.
What happened was that although God sent
Isaiah to give him information but God was waiting for King Hezekiah either to
accept or reject the information. When God through Isaiah told him he would die,
King Hezekiah rejected that information said, “no i will not die”. Immediately
King Hezekiah took that stand, God sent prophet Isaiah back to tell him that
because he rejected it, God also rejected it. What do you do when you receive negative
information. Do you just cry and throw a pity party?
If you can reject it, you have the power to
change it. Anything you reject, God will give you the opposite. If you reject
it, God will reject it. If you reject, sickness, God will give you health. If
you reject failure, God will give you success. In Matthew 16:19, Jesus said, whatsoever you
bind on earth will be bound in Heaven. Anything you accept in your life, Heaven will
accept it. Anything you reject in your life, Heaven will reject it.
Stand and reject every evil the enemy throws
at you. They may have told you that you will never prosper, stand up, look in
your spirit and see your business prospering then say loud to the devil, i
reject it in the name of Jesus. They may say you will not get an education,
stand and reject it. They say you can never build a house, reject it. They say
you can never get marriage, have children, your husband is a drunkard, your
wife cannot be good, reject it.
If you can reject it, you can change it.
Prayer/Confession: In the name of Jesus, satan
you are a liar, whatever you have said about me, I reject it. You have no hand
in my life. I reject failure, sickness, disappointment, frustration, pain,
sorrow, from my life in the name of Jesus.(Pray seriously). I claim the
blessings of God.
