Philip
findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the
law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any
good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. (JOHN
1:45-46)
The bible says when Phillip found Nathaniel;
he said to him, “we have found the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, who Moses spoke
about”. When Phillip said Nazareth, the bible say Nathaniel said, “can any good
thing come out of Nazareth”. The question is, why would Nathaniel say that? The
reason is that, Nazareth was a town that stoned men of God, it was a
backsliding city, the town was notorious. That was why Nathaniel made that
statement, due to what Nazareth was known for. Philip did not have any
mathematical, theological reason or reply for Nathaniel, that is why he said,
“come and see”. What Phillip was saying to Nathaniel was that the impossible
has happened, a miracle has taken place.
Miracle is defined as God’s
supernatural intervention in the affairs of men. A miracle is something that
cannot be explained scientifically, theologically or mathematically but if you
see a miracle you would know. You, reading this devotional need God to
intervene in your life, that is what miracle is all about. I believe that today
you would experience God intervening in your life, job, business, marriage.
People may have written you off, the good news is that God can still intervene.
Who would ever think that Nazareth a notorious city could produce a Messiah? Do
not be afraid or be discouraged, do not block your heart against the
manifestation of God’s power if he can come out of Nazareth, he can visit you
and miracles shall manifest. Just believe.
Today God will display you to the world; you
shall experience a miracle in every aspect of your life. This week, a miracle
will happen to you. Your God is not dead. He is alive as you open your heart
and spirit onto God, he will meet you. God will meet the sickness in your body
remove the load you are carrying. Do not be afraid God will show himself strong
on your behalf. Because the bible says that God will give you rest he will take
away your load and give you His rest.
PRAYER:
O Lord display me to the world, let
them see your hands of intervention in my life, today my miracle must manifest
every hand holding my breakthrough I command you to die in the name of Jesus .
As many that have written me off, concluded my story they shall be put to
shame. I am a wonder to my generation and to the world.
