“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and
in the power of his might” Ephesians
6: 10
Apostle
Paul says, Be strong in the lord which means if you are a weak Christian, your
protection is not guaranteed. You cannot afford the luxury of being weak as a
believer/Christian. If you are, you expose yourself. It is like telling the
devil I am your enemy but you have no protection.
Why
must/should you be strong in the Lord? “…for we wrestle not against flesh and
blood but against principalities and powers….the living Bible says
You
must be strong in the Lord because you are not fighting against flesh and
blood. See verse 12 Flesh and blood means human beings. We wrestle against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this world and, against spiritual wickedness in
high places.
The man
going from one native doctor to another because of you is not your enemy. It is
the spirit in that man; you are wrestling against not the man himself. There is
another spirit behind that man. The battle is not against flesh and blood. That
was why Apostle Paul said, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might
because you do not have the power alone to face the devil. If you are strong in
the Lord, the Lord was the one who made Lucifer. God did not make him as satan
but as Lucifer.
If you
fight Lucifer/satan with your own strength or you do it with juju, society
power, you will fail. Your only protection is in Jesus. Jesus said, I beheld
satan fall as lightning. He has fallen. He is on the ground.
Prayer/Confession:
In the name of Jesus, I come against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this
world and, against spiritual wickedness in high places fighting against me. I pull you down in the name of
Jesus.
