“For Pharaoh will say of the
children of Israel, they are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut
them in” (Exodus 14:3).
In the above scripture, the
children of Israel were in big trouble. They were faced with the army of
Pharaoh who were coming behind; the red sea which was in front, and mountains
which surrounded them on the left and right. But in verse 13, Moses reacted and
said, “And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still, and see the
salvation of the LORD, which He will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom
ye have seen today, ye shall see them no more forever” (Exodus 14:13).
You may be confronted with
different kinds of problem and it seems that they are about to crush you but
listen, child of God; do not be afraid. The Pharaohs' of your life might be
rejoicing now but their rejoicing will be short lived. They may be laughing and
mocking at you now but the same God who delivered the children of Israel from
the hand of Pharaoh will deliver you also. Don't get shut up in the wilderness
when you have God; be sure He has your solution.
The moment God shows up, your
tears will turn to joy. Pharaoh might think the wilderness has shut you in but
because God has the solution, you will escape the wilderness experience.
The reason why you cannot miss
your way is because God is the same yesterday, today and forever If He
delivered the children of Israel by leading them through the wilderness, He
will deliver you also. Always understand that God is too God to fail you.
