“How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or
how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?” Numbers 23:8
Balak out of jealousy invited Balaam to curse
God’s people. There are people who are jealous of you. There is so much
Jealousy is in the land.
God had warned Balaam in Numbers 22:12 not to go
but he still went to Balak. Balak then took him to a high mountain, made
sacrifices and asked Balaam to curse God’s people but as he opened his mouth,
he could not help but bless them. He tried to but he just could not curse them.
When evil people gather to curse you, it will
turn to a blessing.
If God blesses you, no one can curse you. Balak
took him to other mountains but as he opened his mouth, only blessings came
out. Then in Numbers 23:20, he said, God has already blessed them, I
cannot reverse it.
In verse 23 he said, “Surely there is no
enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against
Israel...” Child of God, they say they locked you up and
thrown the key in an ocean. If God has blessed you, there is no power or spirit
that can reverse it. No enchantment or divination against you shall
stand. God can change a curse to a blessing but the devil cannot change a
blessing to a curse because God made the devil. You are blessed in the morning,
at noon, at night, your business, body, life, is blessed.
Israel did not know what was happening on top of
the mountain. They did not know their enemies had hired a backslidden prophet
to curse them. There are many things you do not know but If you dwell in the
secret place of the Most High, a 1000 shall fall at your side and 10,000 at
your right hand side but it shall not come nigh thee in the name of Jesus.
Prayer/ Confession: Lift your hands up and begin
to thank God for the blessing.
